Last night’s FlightFest, the Friday night welcome party, here in Hawaii was nothing short of EPIC.
Spanning across the grounds of the Sheraton and The Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki, attendees of this year’s Global were treated some seriously spectacular sponsor activations…
VA teamed up with Delta to bring a bit of sailor style to Hawaii with the opportunity to get a Polaroid photo with sailor boys and girl models. Plus they ensured that everyone got lei’d!
Globus converted themselves into the new bar in town, GLOBAR and were serving Mai Tai’s as the drink of the day!
They also went a tad retro had surfboard photo opportunities with Hawaiian male surfers and Hula girl models.
Air NZ brought us Kahuna Breaks and we’re giving delegates the chance to relive the action on Air NZ’s big screen, as well as offering temporary tattoos to all!
To keep everyone charged up, Optus set up branded charging stations for delegates to use.
Amadeus made sure everyone was looking their best with a hair braiding station, and Miss Amadeus models will also be walking around handing out frangipanis.
The Rumfire bar became the new Cruise Bar courtesy of World’s Leading Cruise Lines.
Etihad Airways went for a neon and pineapple themed activations and were handing out branded coloured visors, sunglasses and giant beach balls!
They then teamed up with Sabre to present the afterparty….
And after months of speculation Mark Ronson took to the stage at 10.15pm as headline act and the crowd went wild!
